


MattWendling has successfully completed his second semester of ENG239.
MattWendling wanted to present this reflection in a technology he learned and explored this semester.
MattWendling feels as though overall, the semester was a test of self-discipline and greatly helped refine the knowledge he gained in the fall.
MattWendling honestly thought he'd never touch those projects again. But found that as the semester progressed that he wanted to revisit them.
MattWendling will continue to develop the skills learned in ENG239 as he revises last semester's projects.
MattWendling is absolutely thrilled to have discovered a possible new career field in new media.
MattWendling really felt as though his knowledge and practical application was fostered through hands-on individual work this semester.
MattWendling found that the process of remaking a Twitter interface through Dreamweaver merged the creative and rhetorical.
MattWendling also challenged himself to learn new technologies. Dreamweaver CS4 was a handful!
MattWendling thanks his poetry class for aiding in the workshopping process. The two courses really fused at that junction.
MattWendling found the practice of evaluating and submitting feedback suggestions to be a good learning experience.
MattWendling noticed that we focused a lot more on each other's work.
MattWendling was forced to figure out how to effectively communicate in only 140 characters.
MattWendling realizes that it's time to bring in the class goals. The composition portion of the course was largely fostered by the use of Twitter.
MattWendling 's discipline was tested time and time again with the amount of free time we were given to work on our projects.
MattWendling then pitched his Twitter project idea on a whim (more or less) and found that it was extremely well received.
MattWendling began to realize that the biggest challenge of the semester would be to have the self-discipline to regulate my work.
MattWendling found himself contributing less and less as the semester got more and more daunting from both an academic and personal standpoint.
MattWendling slowly discovered that the class room chemistry and individuals makes a big difference in how a class works.
MattWendling started off wondering what he was going to gain from reviewing the same material for a second time.
MattWendling had a really interesting semester after reenrolling in ENG239.


Matthew Wendling enrolled in English 239: Multimodal Composition twice, focusing his area of study on social networking. He spent his first semester working with the popular Web site, MySpace.com, and worked primarily with Twitter in the Spring of 2009.
