My parents own a printshop in Arizona. While I was living in Arizona, I filled in at the shop when it was busy. I helped out with the quoting of jobs, worked with customers to meet their design and financial needs, and performed typesetting tasks. The following are samples from this experience:
While working at Carpenters Local 63, the Local celebrated its 100th anniversary. The Local decided to compile a booklet to commerate the occasion. I spent a lot of time working on it. Most of the work I did was the advertising section. I designed some of the ads from scratch and others from samples of ads previously used by the company / organization.
