My Academic Life in
the United States
In the fall of 1996,
I came to the United States to study at Winona State Universtiy, where
I got my second mster's degree in English Studies. Starting from the
fall of 1998, I embarked on my Ph.D. study at Illinois State University,
majoring in Technical Communication. These three and half years of studies
have been very fruitful for me. Academically I have gained knowledge
in literature, linguistics, Teaching English as Second Lnaguage, and
technical communication; culturally, I have enriched my experiences
by my everyday contacts with American people--friends, professsors,
classmates, and students. My traveling to some cities and States in
the US--Chicago, Washsington DC, Florada, New York, Harrisberg in PA
has enabled me to know more about this culturally diversified and economically
well-developed country.
Here is the site where I put some of
the course papers I have done for some classes. These include the papers
for literature, linguistic, teaching composition, technical communication,
master's thesis, and internship proposal. If you are interested in them,
click on the drop-down window on the top the each page and select the
one you are interested in. It will get you to the page. Thank you for
your interest!
