Bundy murdered somewhere between 36 and 50 women in a span of roughly four years. He preferred them a certain way as well: young (early twenties), attractive, having long hair with it parted in the middle. There was usually no deviation from this set pattern until, of course, he grew desperate and nabbed 12-year-old Kimberly Leach from her grade school.

Bundy played the injured handsome man when luring them into his deathly trap. He would often put a fake cast on and stumble around a college campus or park with some books or a bike until someone--a young woman--would ask him if he needed help. Other times, he would blatantly come up to a pretty young woman and ask her if he would help her load his sailboat. When the woman would accept, they would walk to his 1968 VW Bug and get in. Bundy would then undergo a metamorphosis of a sort: he would turn cold and vengeful, slapping a pair of handcuffs on his victim, and bashing her over the head with a club, usually a crowbar (however, during one of his last sprees in the Chi Omega house, he used a log).

From here, what Bundy did with his victims is still disputed, but he did confess to some of his methods. He would rape them--sometimes as he strangled them--and when they were dead or simply unconscious, he would rape them again. Sometimes he even took pictures of them as they lay dead or took pictures of them in pornographic poses. When he was finished with them, he dumped their bodies in the mountains. More on Bundy's methods can be found on the Confessions and Motivations page.

What this page aims to do is present a listing and a few photographs of Bundy's victims.
