Bundy outside
the Pitkin County courthouse on June 7, 1977. During a recess
from a hearing, he walked into the library and stripped off several
layers of clothing and jumped 25 feet out of a window to the
ground. He was free for a week, wandering around the mountains
aimlessly before being recaptured. |

FBI
wanted poster on
Feb. 15, 1978 in Pensacola, Florida, 6 days after the disappearance
of Bundy's last victim. This is probably the photo of Bundy that
got Mark Harmon the job playing the killer in The Deliberate
Stranger. |

appearance, a quality about him which perhaps aided in his evading
capture so many times. |
