The island of Fireworks has seven firework-volcanoes, a comfeti-waterfall, a meadow of four-leafed clovers and a cave full of treasures. In his castle in the Island of Fireworks he has a collection of fairy tale things. His collection includes a brick from the house that the three little wolves had build, the wick from Aladdin's lamp, a feather from the pillow that the beautiful princess slept on for a hundred years, a piece of the mirror that Snow-white's mother used to own and the egg-shell from which the ugly duckling was hatched.
Among others, he is the invenor of the chameleon paint. (If you paint your bedroom with this paint, in the morning it has the colour of your last nights dream. If you dream about the sea, it will be blue with white wavy stripes and if you dream about a field of poppies, it will be green with red dots.)
He has also discovered the fabulous Fruitopia (the land of the Barnaby the runner Bean and other fruits and vegetables), the Kingdom of Maximillian the Mini, the Island ot Fireworks, Trainidad the land of little trains, and he has found the long lost eighth colour of the rainbow.
When he was six years old he had such a splendid birthday party and so many presents, that he wished he could have a birthday every day; day, after day. His wish was fulfilled, but in just three months he was 98 years of age. Since then he has been struggling to grow younger, but this is much more difficult than growing older.

A barrister-at-law and a criminologist, teaching international and comparative
criminology at the University of Reading in England and the Pantion University
of Athens Greece, Eugene Trivizas is one of Greece's best loved writers
